Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Kitchen Hygiene: Keep the kitchen and equipment clean, organised, and sanitised to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Dishwashing: Responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, ensuring they are ready for use by the kitchen staff.
• Assist the Kitchen Team: Support chefs with various tasks such as food preparation, vegetable peeling, and ingredient handling.
• Refuse Removal: Regularly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials in accordance with our waste disposal guidelines.
• Stock Management: Assist in managing inventory and stocking supplies to ensure a smooth operation during service hours.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a well-organised and efficient kitchen, even during peak service times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
